Anglicans Stand in Solidarity With Zimbabweans

As is the case in many places, those who speak the truth with love often become the targets of those whose backs are against the wall. As I mentioned on Monday the Anglican church has been effectively outlawed from Zimbabwe. The churches and in particular perhaps the Anglican churches in Zimbabwe have been horrifically bullied by Mugabe. On the Godly desire to protect foreigners and the paradoxical world of immigration policy

It is sometimes seen as old fashioned to use the bible to support moral views and matters of politics. However this has not always been so. The slaves who changed the system criticised by William Wilberforce are a case in point. The present Archbishop of Canterbury is another. It is not always popular to see and to seek a better way of doing things. But women and men of courage know there is no better way to follow. Read more »
