Just in case anyone thinks that unity is just about to break out in Zimbabwe, I have written up today's Zim news elsewhere and include a prayer request here.

Please pray for the people of Zimbabwe, after the sham presidential election on 27th June. They face increasing hunger and hardship as well as yet still more growing political violence and intimidation. Pray that God will raise up a righteous and just ruler for this country. Pray that Zimbabwean Christians, who have been one of Mugabe`s many targets, will be salt and light in their country at this time of immense suffering. Pray for the protection of all those trying to feed the hungry.

I have adapted this prayer request from the Barnabas fund. The Barnabas fund send food and other helpful resources under the protection of the Holy Spirit to places like Zimbabwe.
